Our Story
Shirhan Hassan embarked on her nursing career in 2012, with a pivotal decision in 2017 to dedicate her time to caring for her mother during her cancer treatment. Recognising the benefits of personalised, one-on-one care at home for both monitoring and addressing emotional needs, Shirhan took charge of arranging comprehensive care while liaising with healthcare professionals. She provided unwavering advocacy, ensuring her mother’s wishes were honoured, even in difficult decisions regarding treatment.
In 2018, drawing from her extensive nursing background, Shirhan Hassan, a UK registered advanced nurse practitioner, established International HCR. With experience spanning various adult specialties including emergency medicine, infectious diseases, research, and oncology, our director brings a wealth of knowledge from both private sector and NHS settings, accumulating over a 12 years of combined nursing experience. Committed to delivering high-quality care, we at International HCR are dedicated to upholding the safe care standards in the community.
